Do you fret about being angry with people? Maybe, you and your best friend are mad at each other. It probably doesn’t even matter why you are angry. You both have hurt feelings. What do you do in a situation like this? It’s easy to stay mad, but then you may lose your best friend. How can you both become friendly again? It might be time to bite the bullet and apologize.
When you bite the bullet, you do something that you don’t want to do. But you do it because you feel you need to do it. For example, you might think you are right, and your best friend is wrong. But if you want to stay friends, you won’t fight. Even though you think you’re right, you’ll bite the bullet and tell your friend that you’re sorry. Maybe, your friend will come to the same conclusion and apologize to you, too.
Jordin is going to bite the bullet and tell Sheila that she’s sorry for kissing Andy. Will Sheila also apologize to her? Find out in today’s English soap opera.

Andy_H: It’s her! Sheila!
Kelsey: Sheila!!!
Dominique: Sheila!!!
Kelsey: Maybe, we should give them a moment.
Dominique: That’s a good idea.
Kelsey: I’m glad you came, Jordin.
Jordin: Yeah, I decided I needed to bite the bullet and apologize to Sheila.
Dominique: That’s a good idea.
Kelsey: I agree.
Jordin: I don’t like feeling like people are mad at me. So, I’m just going to apologize, and then we can move on with things.
Kelsey: Yay! It’ll be so nice to have everyone here and friendly again.
Jordin: Even though, I actually think she needs to apologize to me, too.
Dominique: She did seem to overreact to things.
Jordin: I can understand her being angry with me, but she just got so mad and then just left.
Kelsey: Well, maybe, she’ll bite the bullet and apologize, too.
Dominique: Yeah, perhaps, maybe, she came to the same conclusion and will also apologize.
Jordin: We’ll see. I’m just happy to, hopefully, not have to fret over this anymore.

There is a knock on the door. Andy jumps up and runs to give Sheila a hug. Kelsey and Dominique come to say hi, but Andy and Sheila are still hugging. They decide to give them a moment and go into the other room. Jordin tells them that she’s going to bite the bullet and apologize to Sheila. Kelsey and Dominique think this is a good idea.
Jordin just wants everyone to be friendly again. Kelsey agrees. However, Jordin thinks that Sheila should tell her sorry, too. Sheila got so angry and overreacted before she had all the information. Kelsey thinks Sheila might come to the same conclusion and apologize, too. No matter what, Jordin is ready to move on and not be mad anymore.
When did you have to bite the bullet? Did you ever apologize for something you weren’t sorry about?
