The Afghan Red Crescent - Is An Aid-Organization That Helps People In Need In This Least Developed Country Named Afghanistan!

‘Tagesschau’ says that from the evening of September 9th to the evening of September 10th countries with a Shia-majority like Afghanistan celebrate the Ashura-holiday. According to this report this is one of the most important holidays in Shia-Islam and is a reminder of the murder of the grandson of the prophet Mohamed.

‘Unicef’ says that ongoing drought and conflict continue to leave this country utterly devastated. Even in the four safest regions Herat,Mazer Sharif and Panjsher people don’t have enough water and food. In all of Afghanistan more than 13 million people are food insecure – surviving on one meal every second day at best.

The German TV-show ‘TopZehn’ just deemed the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the Durand Line, the most dangerous in the world. While many military acts that took place there actually were meant to kill terrorists or other criminals 87% of them failed their aim and killed innocent people.
The border between Columbia and Ecuador however was just second in line. There the ‘People’s Army’ built a military camp. So far these people killed about 200.000 people. This border is full of mines and mortar weapons. This even lead to a conflict between both countries. The Columbian military sometimes goes to the Ecuadorian side of this border when fighting the ‘People’s Army’ – against the will of the Ecuadorian government.
Nigeria and Chad actually coexist peacefully, but still ‘TopZehn’ says that the border between the two of them is the 3rd most dangerous in the world. Poor refugees spend a long time as homeless people at this border, Boko Haram fighters are hiding there and sometimes the Chadian government sends soldiers to the Nigerian side of the border to fight Boko Haram terrorists.
The border between Bangladesh and India is covered with barb wire to keep Indian terrorists from going to Bangladesh. Of course this barb wire is rather useless and thus the soldiers stationed there are very aggressive and have the permission to shoot at the faintest suspicion – often killing innocent Bangladeshis who just wanted to go to their working place in the more prosperous India.

The German newspaper ‘GEO’ says that in 2017 the American rock star Lanny Cordola donated a singing school to Kabul (Afghanistan) to give young girls English and especially singing lessons. The idea was that in Afghanistan many girls are denied access to education or a job. Thus after graduating from this kind of school the girls at least can earn their living by playing an instrument or singing. Now 1,5 years later this school is working perfectly.

Supermarkets which sell this ice cream in Germany warn customers about buying the ice cream ‘Viennetta Chocolate’ with the lot code L8047BA004 and the best before date Febuary 2020. As it seems workers accidentally put hazelnuts inside and the amount is big enough to be a potential danger to people who are allergic to hazelnuts.
What this has to do with Afghanistan? It is commonly known that Turkey practices child labor by using the children of refugees in the production of their hazelnuts. They are the biggest producer of hazelnuts on earth, making it extremely likely that the hazelnuts in this product were produced by underage refugees – most likely from Afghanistan. This provides also non-allergic people with a reason to avoid this inadequate ice-cream due to its high amount of hazelnuts.
